January 2023 Release Notes

The January 2023 release is a mini release containing updates for Care Control Windows, Mobile and Pocket. There are a few new features, existing solution fixes and performance improvements.

Care Control Mobile

New Features

Adding Address for Home Care Service User Type

You are now able to add/ edit an address for Home Care service users using Care Control Mobile. To add an address you will first need to go to the service users personal details in the Care Plan.

Select the notepad and pencil icon to enable edit mode.

Scroll down to the personal appearance and address area and select the edit button once more.

 

Scroll to the bottom and you will now be able to add the address under “Resident Address” (this will display using your naming of the service user type).

When selecting a resident from the “View Care Plan” screen, you can now search for a service user. Previously you had to scroll until you found the correct service user.

System Fixes

An issue with changing the date when adding a record to a food intake recording has been resolved.

Care Control Windows

King’s Coronation Bank Holiday

This years additional bank holiday on 08/05/2023 has been added to Care Control. Our customers will be required to perform a holiday adjustment to add the additional hours to the holiday allowance for their staff members.

System Fixes

  • Previously, updating a role would potentially lock a user out of roster settings. This release fixes that issue and the permissions are now carried across.

  • An issue with deactivating a roster template. Previously, if you deactivated a rota template, it would disappear and require help from Care Control to make it reappear. These will now show in the historic templates folder.

  • An issue with printing Care Reviews. When “No Need” was selected, the option would not show in the chart and would appear blank.

  • An issue where not having an email address on an invoice would cause a system crash. Now a prompt is displayed advising this field is missing.

  • An issue where burns and scalds risk assessments could not be printed has been resolved

  • An issue where you could not change the date of an event when linked to a service user has been resolved.

  • Various spelling mistakes have been corrected.

Care Control Pocket

System Fixes

  • An issue selecting the correct options on risk assessments.

  • An issue with the calculation when recording personal allowance for a service user.

  • When a doctors surgery/ GP has a long name, previously you could not always view the contact number when viewing “Professional Contacts”. Now if you tap onto the name of the contact, more information will be displayed including the number.
