July 2022 Release

Welcome to the July 2022 release of Care Control. This release includes some highly requested enhancements as well as a number of solutions to existing difficulties. Please keep feeding back ideas for enhancements. More updates are on the horizon!

System Versions

After this update you will need to be using CC Windows 3.54, CC Mobile 4.60, CC Pocket 2.32 and CC eMAR 2.25.

Release Timetable

This release will be rolled out on 13th July, 2022.

The following is a list of the changed included in this release:-

  • Improved Search Facilities
    We have improved the searching feature on a number of screens on CC Mobile to make recording with a large number of service users easier.

  • NEWS2 Recording on CC Mobile
    We have added NEWS2 recording to CC Mobile - this was previously only available on CC Pocket.

  • Inductions on CC Mobile
    We have added Inductions (part of the recent Recruitment update) to the Staff area on CC Mobile.

  • Staff PIN Obfuscation
    We have added a new system setting which will conceal staff PINs from other staff in the administration area on CC Mobile.

  • Nouns and Plurals on CC Mobile
    CC Mobile is the first app were every screen where the word “Resident” or “Residents” or “Service User” or “Service Users” has been changed to use the entries in the system settings.

  • Messages Received - Extra Data
    We have improved the messages viewed when a staff member signs into one of the apps to include the date that the message was sent.

  • More Accurate Weight Recording
    We have added a value-entry option when recording Weights on CC Mobile which can be used instead of the existing value selector - this means staff can now record to the exact gram.

  • All Training Showing in Staff Records
    We have updated the Staff Records to show all completed and required training for a staff member - this previously only showed mandatory courses and their status.

  • Updated Personal Care Recording
    There is a new system setting which will allow staff to record Personal Care for specific times rather than the current default times (10:00 and 21:00).

  • Handover Composite Notes
    This update includes a new Handover feature which allows staff to create a summary note specifically for handover which will be combined into one composite note.

  • eMAR Print
    There are changes to the printing of eMAR sheets which include “Other Details” at the bottom of the printout.

  • eMAR Stock Audit
    We have included a more organised way of auditing stock on eMAR.

  • Care Review Sections List
    We have updated the list of Care Review Sections on CC Pocket to show the sections which are active for the service user rather than the default list.

  • Sent Messages on CC Pocket
    We have extended the Messaging area on CC Pocket so that staff can view their sent messages.

  • “Who You Are Working With” Concealment
    A system setting has been added to show the roles of the staff being worked with rather than the staff members' names on CC Pocket.

  • Filter Alerts In Home/Service Status
    On the Home/Service Status you can now filter the Alerts to show only Alerts which the signed-in staff member can sign off.

  • Medical Visits Improvements
    We have added data for who recorded the Medical Visit and when as well as allowing for the Medical Visit to be linked to Care Review sections when recording through CC Windows.

  • Single-Form Custom Monitoring Alerts
    We have included two new Alerts with this update - when a staff member starts recording a single-form custom monitoring or completes the recording.

  • PEEPs Printout
    We have added the service user’s photo to the printout for use in emergencies.

  • Printer Selection
    In CC Windows there is now the option to select a printer where the option to print exists.

  • Care Note Analysis
    We have added the name of the service user to each note record on the printout from Care Note Analysis. The results from this area can now also be exported to a spreadsheet.

  • Incident Follow-Up Actions
    There are two new system settings for Incidents - the first will lock the follow-up actions so that staff cannot select any follow-up actions besides “Inform Management”, the second will allow administrators to edit follow-up actions.

  • “No Need” Dependency Levels
    Previously “No Need” showed as having a score of “1” which was artificially inflating dependency scoring. This has been adjusted to show as “0”.

  • Adding New Service Users
    We have added support when adding new service users would exceed the licence limit.

  • Bulk Payroll Changes
    A new area has been added to CC Windows to allow staff to easily modify pay for multiple staff in one go.

  • Variable Template Weeks
    We have added a new Roster setting which will allow staff to create templates which have a number of weeks different to the usual Roster cycle.
