Virtual Machine VM Reset Guide

  1. Log into the correct server which contains the CC-VM you would like to reset 192.168.1.*** (Only accessible via the CareControlVM WiFi Network.

  2. Locate the discussed CC-VM and then click actions - Snapshots - Restore from snapshot. The CC-VM will then be reset to a state where there is no previous customer data.

 

The next steps take place on RemotePC™ - Computers

 

  1. Find the previous user of the CC-VM and navigate to the CC-VM they are assigned to

  2. Uncheck the ticked box and then click 'Save' at the bottom.

  3. Now navigate to Computers and select the option at the top called ‘Add Group’

  4. In the group name field, type the name of the business and selected the option named ‘Users’ (Computers will already be selected)

  5. Once created, select the CC-VM which has been reset and clcik ‘Move Computer’ located at the top of the screen.

  6. Choose from the dropdown list the new business group you created in step 4 and proceed to click ‘Move’

  7. Now the CC-VM has been assigned to the business you will now need to navigate to users.

  8. Click ‘Add User’

  9. Type in the users email and select the group from the drop down list.

  10. Scroll down and you will see all the CC-VM computers, tick the CC-VM and then click ‘Invite user'.

Dear customer,

You will have received an email with a link for you to click on, and this will open up the log in screen.

In the log in screen, it will come up with your email address and then complete the rest of the boxes, Forename, Surname, and password.

 

Selecting ‘Download’ Will download the needed program onto the MAC

Once downloaded it will ask you to login with the email and password the customer created.

Once they have logged in they will be able to see the CC-VM they have been assigned. Site Code will need to be entered onto CareControl Windows and Mobile.

 

Please note that by using the remote pc application, your settings will be remembered the next time you open the program.

Recommended settings are to click ‘View’ check the option called original and then under ‘Monitor 1’ Select the desired resolution - 1280 x 720 is recommended
