July 2021 Bugs

In this release, as well as many new features we have fixed a number of bugs with the existing system.

Mental Capacity and Consent Ordering- Care Control Windows

Although not technically a bug, we have changed the way the mental capacity assessments/ consents are ordered on the service users care plan. These are now ordered in created date order (newest first) and also sorted by active/ inactive. Previously these were just ordered by created date order meaning the active and inactive assessments could become muddled up. You will now find your expired assessments at the bottom of the list.

Admin Dashboard Home Status- Care Control Windows

There was previously a slight difference between the home status on the Admin dashboard and the general Care Control Windows for the “Allocation Status”. This has now been altered for both to read the same

Medication Audit Report- Care Control Windows

The Medication Audit report previously had an issue with high volume sites where the report was unable to load the amount of data required. This was due to a missing date clause to restrict the amount of data being displayed. This has been altered to 30 days worth of data.

Comma in Fluid Alert- Care Control Windows

When creating the a fluid alert, you were able to add a comma into the amount field. This would cause the alert to fail. You are now only able to add numbers to this field.

Adding New Training Course Types- Care Control Windows

Previously, you were able to add a new training course type by adding into the list through Care Control Windows. This wasn’t supposed to be possible. The new course type would only appear on the computer it was created. We have now added this functionality to enable you to add new course types.

Staff Retaining Pin Numbers When Marked as a Leaver- Care Control Windows

On occasion, when you processed a staff leaver, their pin number was not set to null. The account would become inactive meaning they would no longer be able to sign in but if you had a staff member that then wanted that same pin number as their own, they were unable as the system would think it was already in use. This has been corrected.

Recording Creams

If your site uses CSG’s to separate your service users and your site is set up as either domiciliary or supported living, you were unable to record creams for anyone within that CSG. This has now been altered so you are only shown service users from your CSG that you are assigned to on the rota.

Number of Falls in Fast Facts- Care Control Windows, Mobile & Pocket

The number of falls recorded in the fast facts for a service user was displaying data from incidents that had been excluded, meaning the total number of falls in incident analysis would be different to the fast facts. This is now the same.

No Date of Arrival on Pocket Personal Details- Care Control Pocket

Previously, if you tried to save personal details without a Date of Arrival on pocket, you would receive an “unknown error”. We have now made this more obvious by including the actual error.
