Proposed Care Review Changes

We have added support on Pocket to allow staff to propose a change to a Care Review. This allows for staff to write an update to the Care Review, for then a manager to This is switched on by default, however can be configured through CC Windows System Settings: -

The key settings associated with this new feature are: -

Care Staff Propose changes to Care Reviews
Options are: Yes or No

If this setting is switched on you will see the following button when viewing any Care Review section within Pocket.

 

When you select this button the screen changes to allow you to edit the contents: -

You can propose a change to the level of need, change the text for the present situation or the current action plan.

Remember, the Pocket Device allows you to dictate.

You can also add a signature from a service user: -

When you have saved the propose change it is passed to a manager to agree.

CC Windows - Approving a Change

Within CC Windows Administration Area you will see the propose changes marked under the Care Planning area: -

In the above example we have 6 proposed changes waiting. When we click on the button you can see the Proposed Care Review Changes form: -

Each service user is listed in the top left hand corner with the number of issues to review. When you click on a Service User the proposed Care Review sections are shown. In the lower form you then see the current values taken from the latest Care Review and the proposed changes.

Scrolling down on the lower form you can see who proposed the change, the date / time and if their is a signature attached: -

You can view the signature at this stage and remove it if you feel it is not satisfactory: -

You can amend any text entered at this point, add bullet points or check spelling.

You then either Accept or Reject the change: -

If we accept the change the section list is updated: -

When you have completed processing the proposed changes for a service user, you then have to Process or Undo the Changes: -

If you click Process Changes the accepted changes are used to create a new Care Review for that service users.

Interim Review
If you select that this is an interim review, the target review date is NOT reset.

Other Settings in this Area

There are two other settings in this area that you can use. “Can Care Review proposed changes automatically process”. For this setting you are these options: -

This means that if this setting is set and a user of that security level proposes a changes to a Care Review, this change will automatically be processed and a new care review will be created.
