October 2021 Release Home

Welcome to the October release of Care Control. This release includes enhancements to key functions across our apps and database technologies. Please keep feeding back ideas for enhancements. More updates are on the horizon!

System Versions

After this update you need to be using CC Windows 3.47, CC Pocket 2.23 and CC Mobile 4.52.

Release Timetable

This release will be rolled out on Tuesday and Wednesday the 19th and 20th October.

Summary of the Changes and Documentation Links

The following is a list of the changes included in this release:-

• Searching for service users when recording General Notes and Activities on CC Pocket
  We have added a search facility which allows you to filter the list of service users based on entered text.

• Recording of lateral flow tests for staff members
  This update includes the option to record the results of lateral flow tests and whether or not they have been reported.

• Access V-Book through CC Mobile
  We have added an option to launch V-Book through Mobile without setting the device as a dedicated sign-in app.

• Option to record vaccination statuses of visitors
  When visitors sign in through V-Book, they can now record whether they have been vaccinated.

• Increased upper limit for recording weights for service users
  We have raised the limit for the weights available for recording, including improved BMI calculations.

• Funding Body added to New Enquiries
  When adding a New Enquiry for a potential service user, you can now record the funding body (if applicable). You can either enter new options for recording or select from existing records.

• New Alert for Agency shifts
  An Alert template has been created for when a shift has been assigned to an Agency record.

• Additional tab within Staff Records with quick links to other areas of the system
  We have added a new tab within the Staff Records on CC Windows which has quick-access options to areas such as the Live Rota, Pay Rates and more.

• DBS Auto Renew option added to Staff Records
  You can now mark whether a staff member’s DBS is set to automatically renew.

• Ordering of service users in Incident Analysis
  We have enhanced this area to match service user ordering as per the System Settings.

• New reports
  Several new reports have been included in this update.

• Various bug fixes
