Release Summary

This is a bumper release with many new features added and some bugs found and removed. We continue to work on new projects with our focus on the development of the new HTML version of Care Control. A key new development we are working on is a Compliance Module that will provide a single view of how compliant your organisation is versus the regulator requirements.

Systems Versions

After this update you need to be using CC Windows 3.42, CC Pocket 2.18 and CC Mobile 4.49.

Release Timetable

We are planning on updating your databases on June 8th.  The new apps will be available shortly after.  CC Windows will be download automatically.

The following is a list of the changes included in this release: -

Complaints Area
We have added the ability for you to record and manage complaints within CC Windows. Recording complaints is a key requirement of our regulator and will form a key component of the upcoming Compliance Module.

Amending Client Absences
We have added the ability for you to view and amend Client Absences that you have already recorded. This will allow you to modify absences for clients if circumstances change.

Checklist Changes
Checklists have been significantly updated in this release. We have added a new structure called an Assignment. This allows you to assign a checklist to a staff member, service user, room or even an object, such as a Hoist. Please take a look at this update as it may allow you to modify how core tasks are recorded and evidenced.

NFC Tag
NFC Tags (Near Field Communication) is a way of using very small tags to hold information. Most mobile phones can read NFC Tags. We have added support within Care Control Pocket to enable you to configure and use NFC Tags.

Risk Assessments now available in Care Control Pocket
Risk Assessments can now be viewed within Care Control Pocket. It is part of the Care Plan section within a service users care plan. All Risk Assessments are included, including Generic Risk Assessments that you have defined.

Memory Box now available in Care Control Pocket
Memory Box is a key feature which allows family members to send memories for service users. This feature is now available within Care Control Pocket. This is key for our Dom Care and Supportive Living customers who can now use this feature on their phones during a visit.

Quality Assurance Surveys now available in Care Control Pocket
You can now complete Quality Assurance Survey’s on Pocket. This is key for our Dom Care and Supportive Living customers who want to regularly gather client satisfaction during visits.

E-Mar (Medication) now available in Care Control Pocket
We have added support for eMar within Care Control Pocket. This means that you are able to record medication administration for service users. This is specifically for our Dom Care and Supportive Living customers who want to use their phones for this task.

New Task View on Pocket
We have added a new Task View for our Pocket users. This new view leads with Tasks first, with recording areas as a separate screen. We have set this new view as the default, although you can change it if you would like to.

Roster Changes
We have made a number of changes on the Roster System to make things more efficient. We have added a No Allocation flag. A Not Required Flag. We have added the ability to de-activate a single template. You can also change a visit start time and that change will cascade through all other visits including join visits.

Payroll: Transfer Exceptional Items
We have added the ability for a payroll user to transfer exceptional line entries to a different payroll user.

Facial Biometrics for Sign In and Sign Out - Beta
We have added Facial Recognition to our Care Control Mobile App. This is something you can try for free. If you like it and feel it is something that would strengthen your operation we can add it to your system for a small monthly fee (to cover our licence costs).
